Most remote database jobs are for database administrators. A database administrator (DBA) is responsible for maintaining the performance, security, and integrity of a database. They are usually also involved in the development and planning of the database structure. Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, and MS Access are some of the most popular database platforms.
